JBL Boombox 3 Portable Bluetooth Speaker
Various retailers including Currys PC World and Amazon are currently offering some big reductions on this very talented speaker. At Currys PC World, for example, at the time of writing there's a whopping £150 knocked off the asking price, bringing it down to £349. Now, that's still not among the cheaper speakers, but really, for a piece of kit this capable that's a very good deal.
The JBL Boombox 3 allows you to switch between indoor and outdoor playing modes, with a deeper bass and richer sound for indoors and longer playtime for outdoors. Talking of playtime, the high-capacity 20,000mAh rechargeable battery lasts up to 24 hours on a single charge, so you'll rarely risk running out of sound mid-symphony. The Boombox is also fully waterproof, and allows you to connect up to two devices (tablet and smartphone, for example).

Bang & Olufsen Beolit 20 Portable Bluetooth Speaker
Available in smart black or a rather attractive Grey Mist, this mid-price speaker from the legendary Bang & Olufsen features elegant contemporary design and powerful, portable sound.

Deuomerk IPX7 Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker
This already very affordable wireless portable speaker has just plummeted in price on Amazon, from £27.99 to £17.93: a 36% discount for Black Friday. Don't let the low price fool you, though: with LED lights, 360° surround sound, SD/TF Card, built-in mic and 24-hour play time, this is still one capable speaker. 87% of its Amazon reviewers give the IPX7 four or five stars.
LG XBOOM Go XG7QBK Portable Bluetooth Speaker
Currys has slashed this price of this brilliant speaker from £199 to just £99. Where to start with the XBoom's many talents? Well, it's waterproof, features customisable RGB lighting, and has a battery life of up to 24 hours.
You can pair up to 10 speakers with the LG XBoom, and it also works with both Google Assistant / Siri. It's also designed for smartphone charging. A super-talented speaker, in short, that's available - briefly - at a super price.
